In a recent meeting of the Governance, Organization, and Legislation Committee held on July 15, 2025, Joseph Jayne and Priya Atyolil were put forward as recommended candidates for resident slots on the Finance Committee. The meeting, conducted via Zoom, included a detailed discussion on the qualifications and potential contributions of both nominees.
Acting Chair Freke Ette, along with members Lynn Griesemer and Pat DeAngelis, reviewed the candidates' backgrounds and experiences in finance and community service. Hala Lord, representing District 3, also contributed to the evaluation process. The committee members expressed optimism about the skills and perspectives that Jayne and Atyolil could bring to the Finance Committee, particularly in addressing financial matters relevant to the community.
Ana Devlin Gauthier from District 5 was noted as absent from the meeting. The session was documented for transparency and will aid in the final decision-making process regarding the appointments.
