For 18 years, the CASH Campaign of Maryland has held Money Power Day to assist people in exercising their financial fitness. This year's event took place at Poly-Western High School in North Baltimore, which was transformed into a vibrant hub for financial education and empowerment.
The event attracted a diverse crowd eager to learn about managing their finances effectively. Attendees participated in various workshops and activities designed to enhance their financial literacy, covering topics such as budgeting, saving, and investing. Local experts and volunteers were on hand to provide valuable insights and answer questions, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.
In addition to educational sessions, the event featured resources for tax preparation, credit counseling, and access to financial services. The goal was to equip participants with the tools they need to make informed financial decisions and improve their economic well-being.
